Local hockey organization, the Stockton Colts, will be representing Stockton as they head to the state championships this weekend in San Jose. The Colts have two teams in the organization that made it to the championships – The Bantam Colts and the Squirts. According to Record staff writer Scott Linesburgh, it is a rare occurrence for Stockton to have two teams in the state championships. The Colts play in the NorCal Region and play against bigger teams from the Bay Area; this results in the Colts having to work harder than any team around to make it to the end. The Squirts and Bantam begin the state championships today and we can’t wait to see the results! To read the full Record article, click here.
